Our Drinking Water Protection Plans, also known as Wellhead Plans or Source Water Protection Plans, are catered to communities of all sizes. Our approach saves clients’ money because we work in tandem with the community to collect the information needed for the Plan.
Midwest Water Resources completes the following during the project:

- Does a windshield survey and a search of databases to update the list of Potential Sources of Contamination
- Creates a new map showing the Potential Sources of Contamination
- Updates the emergency contacts and procedures
- Fill out all State applications
- Respond to any State comments until the Plan is approved
Our clients are responsible for:
- A phone interview with Midwest Water Resources to review details about the water system
- Supplying the last five years worth of pumping data (if applicable)
