It’s important to choose a consultant familiar with IDEM’s watershed plan requirements.
Our company founder authored the current version of the watershed plan checklist as well as worked with EPA to develop IDEM’s Urban BMP guidance. Since leaving IDEM he created and led a grassroots watershed planning effort in Indianapolis and helped lead a watershed planning effort in rural southern Indiana. The projects were completed in 18 and 9 months respectively and approved by IDEM even though they were completed without state funding. The plans can be read here:
